Slow time on the Water of Leith

Long exposures made on the Water of Leith, Edinburgh

Most of the time when I go out with my camera, I don't have preconceived ideas of what I'll photograph. I just try to keep an open eye and mind. But recently, for whatever reason, I decided to walk down to the Water of Leith with a tripod and ND filter, to capture the movement of the water and foliage with a longer exposure time. I'm quite pleased with how these turned out. For practical reasons, I don't usually carry a tripod but I think this is something I'll try again, either here by the Water of Leith, or somewhere on the coast.
