A walk along the John Muir Way from the Meadows (central Edinburgh) to Cramond Brig on the outskirts of the city. The route follows the Union Canal before joining the Water of Leith, and then over Corstorphine Hill and through some residential areas in between. It weaves and meanders around and doesn't always take the most direct route; the walk is a little more than 10 miles in all.
This walk completes another section of my partner's charity fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support, for which she is walking all 134 miles of the John Muir Way in 2024.
