We recently took a short break in Newquay, Cornwall. The day we arrived, there'd been strong winds from the west, and the Atlantic was surging around the headland. Gulls struggled to fly straight against the wind. I enjoyed watching the waves crashing in but I dared not get too close to the edge. It was an impressive sight.
